Welcome to Jingumae Elementary School

Welcome to Jingumae Elementary School (JES) next to the fashionable Omotesando Shopping Street in the heart of Tokyo.
JES aims to nurture confident, open-minded, independently thinking where children feel valued and happy.
Children are encouraged, admired, and taught to contribute to society and play an active role in their community.
We are proud of ICT education, English education and marching bands.
Students are studying Japanese culture and beautiful Japanese (Haiku) so that they can explain it to the world in English.
We make Haiku every season, hold the "Jingumae Haiku Contest " four times a year, and show it to parents and local residents.
There is a Japanese Language class at JES.
The Japanese Language Class teaches Japanese and Japanese lifestyles to foreign children and returnees so that they can study with confidence in Japanese schools.
